Yoga and Ski Touring in Romsdalen

Do you dream about escaping the city, to a quiet place with raw nature? Hotel Aak and Romsdal Yoga has planned your dream weekend.
The weekend is filled with yoga, ski touring, great food and relaxation. We hope February will give us nice and dry powder snow, and this will be a weekend for you to seek flow. The package includes all the meals you need for a weekend of yoga and ski touring!


All classes are led at the hotel by Ingrid Devor from Romsdal Yoga.
Ingrid is the manager of Romsdal Yoga and has taught yoga for over 10 years.
The classes will be adjusted to the level of the group and suits for everyone. Either you are new to yoga, or have been practicing for a while, Ingrid will instruct you on your level.

Ashtanga Yoga is a physical yoga practice where you use the breath to move dynamic from position to position. Perfect practice before and after skiing.
Easy Yoga: on Saturday there will be a yoga session in the sauna after skiing. This will be a more calm yoga with focus on easy positions. Good deep breathing exercises and easy meditation.

Ski Touring in Romsdal

Romsdalen is one of the best ski touring destinations in Europe. No lifts, just the pure and raw nature. Several valleys to choose from, depending on the weather and snow conditions. Our guides are experienced and has a broad expertise in alpine skiing and mountaineering, as well as local knowledge about the terrain and weather systems here in Romsdalen.
We aim to create good experiences for our guests, and the guides will plan the tours after group, snow- and weather conditions. Focus in planning and in the mountain is safe route planning and how to find the best snow.

Romsdal Yoga has yoga mats for loan and you can rent ski equipment at Hotel Aak for an extra fee.

Do you travel by train from Oslo or Trondheim? Or by plane to Ålesund or Molde? We can help you with shuttle from and to the station/airport. Make a reservation before you arrive to get picked up.
Check out late free of charge if we don’t have new guests coming in on Sunday. Wardrobe and shower can be arranged before you travel home.
